How do you like the new look? I found this template on Joomla24 Free Joomla Templates yesterday, and thought it would go well with my website. I was actually looking for a new template to take apart and redo for my main website, Clever Endeavours, but ended up updating this one instead. The splash graphic that it came with had uneditable text on it, so I looked for (and found) the Open Source version of the graphic on Open Clipart Library, and tweaked it to fit my site.
I used Macromedia Fireworks 8 to create the text and attach it to a vector path. I think it turned out rather well. Of course, I had to put the ent somewhere, so I chose to have him leaning on the Academy.
So, how do you like it?

I've entered a few more resources to the Educational WebLinks. I have primarily added Educational Resources for Educators, but I also added a couple Language Arts → Writing links as well.
I wish I had more time to devote to adding links and resources to this website. However, other tasks take precedence over this endeavour. I like going through my old bookmarks because I've found a lot of websites that I had forgotten about. Organizing these bookmarks benefits me as much as it does for visitors to my site.

I just spent some more time adding some more links. This time, I've added them to the Educational Resources for Educators section. I'm dizzy with the amount on links I still need to put up! Not to mention that I'm working from a copy of my bookmarks from last year. I've bookmarked a lot more. It's great to revisit the sites, because I'd forgotten about some of these great gems!

I added more links to great websites today. Most of them were in Language Arts (all of the LA categories), and some were added to the Preschool-Primary Grades, and other subjects. I found some really good ones! Here is a breakdown of the categories with new links:

I just added 8 additional links to the French Language section of my Educational WebLinks. Some are for educators, some are for students, and some are for both. I have to say that I like the BBC Languages site the best. Have fun, learn lots!
